Well I bit the bullet and spoke to my mum about my future and especially medicine. She was not at all surprised and, quite ironically, had discussed with my dad a couple of weeks earlier that she thought I might go into medicine or nursing when I finished my current degree.
This week has been full of nice surprises – even with the lack of sleep.
