The latest appeal by Luke Mitchell has been refused by the Appeal Court in Edinburgh. A 2-1 decision to refuse his appeal against sentence saw the Lord Justice Clerk dissenting and suggesting a punishment period of 15 years rather than the 20 imposed would have been more appropriate.
