I’m gay and can’t give blood. I am told that I am more “prone” to getting HIV because of my lifestyle.
What annoys me is that they check all blood regardless. What about women who are having sex with men who say they are straight but are off cruising down the parks?
Its discriminatory and backwards thinking. They check all blood regardless. It’s a f’ing joke.
What’s the worth is that a lot of people don’t even know homosexuals can’t give blood.
Oh and why don’t we just ban Black people from giving blood whilst we are it, because we all know black people are africans and all africans have HIV..
