Scots Law News reports that on 22 August 2008 Lord Bonomy (a Scottish Judge) has been appointed as the judge who will oversee the preparations in the Karadzic trial. It is not the first time that Lord Bonomy has sat in the tribunal. Lord Bonomy took part in the trial of Slobodan Milosevic.
This move follows the re-assignment of the Dutch judge, to whom Karadzic objected to.
