42 Day Detention update

On Wednesday the House of Commons passed the Government’s Counter Terrorism Bill with a majority of 9 votes.

The fight against this attack on Civil Liberties will continue in the House of Lords and beyond if necessary.

There is no need for the extention to pre-charge detention proposed by the Bill. High profile peopleara against it, including the two people responsible for bringing prosecutions in England and Wales and Scotland (the Dorector of Public Prosecutions and the Lord Advocate)
